	Wednesday, February 11, 2009, 4pm; Dean Sue V. Rosser, a talk on women and patents co-sponsored by the Women's Resource Center and WST. Clary Theatre, Success Center.
	Tuesday, February 24, 2009, 4pm; 2009 WST Distinguished Lecturer, Dr. Carolyn Merchant, Professor of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management, University of California-Berkeley, author of The Death of Nature. Clary Theatre, Success Center, reception to follow lecture.

FALL 2008

	Wednesday, September 10, 2008; 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm Annual Reception co-sponsored by the Center for the Study of Women, Science, and Technology; Women in Engineering, and the Women’s Resource Center. Klaus Atrium.
	Thursday, September 25, 2008; Doris Derby, Women Leaders in the Civil Rights Movement. 4pm. Clary Theatre, Success Center. Reception following. (In conjunction with High Museum exhibit “Road to Freedom”)

SPRING 2008

	Wednesday, February 27, 2008; 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm ADVANCE/WST Center career coaching for faculty members.
	Tuesday, March 4, 2008; 4:00 pm Dr. J. Scott Long, Chancellor's Professor of Sociology & Statistics, as well as the Associate Vice Provost for Research of Indiana University will deliver the 2007 - 2008 WST Distinguished Lecture entitled "From Scarcity to Visibility: The changing presence and participation of women in science." 	Tuesday, April 1, 2008; 12 pm - 1:30 pm WST lunch (provided) & discussion will be lead by Anne Walsh (LCC) on the topic of "Not Our Fathers' Union: The Emergence of Women's Unions in Japan." The event will be held in the Student Success Center, President's Suite C.
	Wednesday, April 16, 2008; 11:30 am - 1:00 pm Dr. Gilda Barabino (BME) and Cheryl Leggon (Public Policy) will discuss their ADVANCE project at the Student Success Center in President's Suite C.
FALL 2007
	Wednesday, September 19, 2007; 2 pm - 3:30 pm The WST Center, Women's Resource Center, and ADVANCE are hosting a reception for new faculty members and WST Learning Community students in the Georgia Tech Library. Refreshments will be served.
	Thursday, October 4, 2007; 11:30 am - 1:00 pm WST lunch (provided) & panel on the topic of gender and teaching. The panel will feature Adju Amekudzi (CE), Michelle Dion (INTA), and Mark Guzdial (CoC). The event will be held in the Student Success Center, President's Suite C.
